Jaume Vilardell was commissioned by Bulgari for its Life in BVLGARI magazine to create the series Divine Signs. The challenge was to reinterpret different snake species—such as the Spotted Leaf-Nosed Snake, the Banded Krait, and the Rainbow Water Snake—and transform them into illustrations that evoked jewels, crafted from metals and precious stones. The result was seven striking plates in which the anatomy and movement of each serpent became designs of high jewelry, capturing the elegance, detail, and iconic character of Bulgari’s universe
